Dark Recovery does not use accounts, analytics, cookies, advertising scripts, tracking pixels, session recording, forms, or third-party widgets. The manual pages are static files.
The Operating Plan is saved only in your browser using local storage. It is not submitted, synced, analyzed, or sent to a server. It is not encrypted. Anyone with access to the same browser profile may be able to view it, and clearing browser data may erase it.
Exported text or JSON files become your responsibility. Outbound links to official help resources open other sites with their own privacy practices. This site is not an emergency service.
What local storage means
Local storage is a browser feature. It lets a site keep text on the same device and browser profile so the page can restore it later. In Dark Recovery, local storage is used only for the Operating Plan. The manual does not create an account, send the plan to a server, or attempt to identify the reader.
Local storage is not a secure vault. If another person can open the same browser profile, inspect site data, or use a synced device profile, they may be able to see stored plan content. If that risk matters, use the erase control after exporting only what you are comfortable keeping, or fill the plan on paper instead.
Outbound resources
Some safety links go to official organizations. Those links are ordinary navigation. Once you leave Dark Recovery, the destination site controls its own privacy practices, logs, accessibility behavior, and content updates. Use emergency services directly when there is immediate danger.
